Tier 1. Inform
This project will begin with a test of your knowledge. As a group you will play the game Pollinator Protectors. This game will cover all the information from Unit 7: Angiosperm plants, pollination, Environmental threats/sustainability. Proceeding this game you will enjoy a "Meet & Greet" with professionals from 4 different local organizations that specialize in bees, pollination, and preservation. Each organization will address the class as a whole with basic information regarding their organization and focus. Following the info session you will have the opportunity to explore each organization on your own.
In language arts you will reflect on the relevance of each organization and through Think, Pair, Share format share your reflections with your peers. Proceeding the discussion you will write a reflection identifying which organization you would like to work with and why.

Once you have clearly identified the threat you will create a physical or virtual poster presenting the following information:
-
What is the threat you are focusing on?
-
How was this threat created?
-
What does it impact?
-
What has already been done to address this threat?
-
What are new steps/strategies to remove this threat/reduce its impact?
You will then create a written proposal of these new ideas and present them with your poster to the organization you work with.
